More 30 Days Of Night Sequels Planned?
http://www3.webng.com/horrormoviesandstuff/More30DaysSequels.html
With shooting currently commencing in Vancouver on the "30 Days Of Night" sequel 30 Days Of Night:Dark Days, BD recently got a chance to visit the set of the film, and chatted with the series creator Steve Niles, who kicked off the "30 Days Of Night" universe with the comic book series which the two films were based on. Niles told BD that once "Dark Days" is done, a third film could definitely happen. "Right now we're just trying to get this one in the can," Niles tells BD. "If that goes well, we're set up to move forward. We got a great young cast that we can bring along if this works out well, and we'll be ready to keep going with the story. Plus, the comics are done. God, what do we have, like seven different graphic novels now if it actually took off?" Meanwhile, for those wondering why Melissa George couldn't return as Stella, and has now been recast by Kiele Sanchez (pictured), Niles reveals the reason, explaining..."Schedule. The enemy of all casting. She's got a mill!
ion gazillion things going on right now, so we couldn't fit it." You can read the full set visit by visiting BD above.

Fessenden Off Orphanage Remake!
http://www3.webng.com/horrormoviesandstuff/FessendenOffOrphanageRemake.html
Just after being tapped to helm the project a few months ago, now comes word through AITH that Larry Fessenden has backed out of directing The Orphanage redux for New Line Cinema. Creative differences, being the pesky little things that they are, apparently were responsible for the split, as Larry told "Arrow" recently..."Working on the script with Guillermo was a very exciting experience, but then I got into a casting miasma and that's where the thing is; I think they're gonna do it another way, actually. So I think I'm out of it. Hopefully they'll still use my script, but I'm not sure I'm directing it anymore. That's Hollywood for ya." Still sounds like there might be a sliver of a chance that Fessenden could still direct, but for now, seems as if he's out. "The Orphanage" meanwhile is a remake of Juan Antonio Bayona's 2007-released horror pic "El Orfanato", and centers on a woman who, upon returning to the orphanage where she grew up, discovers that her son's imaginary fr!

http://www3.webng.com/horrormoviesandstuff/CoxArquetteTalksScream4.html
So what does Courteney Cox Arquette, who will be returning in Scream 4, to reprise her role as hard-nosed reporter Gale Weathers...think the basis of her character will be in the fourth film? Apparently, she's not expecting too much excitement to be surrounding Gale and her partner Dewey, 10 years after the events of part 3. Courteney Cox Arquette talked recently with Yahoo News, and gave the following analysis of Gale Weathers, version 4.0..."They're probably back living in Woodsboro," she said of her character Gale and her husband Dewey. "I think that he's probably still deputy, and I've had a lot of kids. I don't know. I'm probably miserable, and then I'm sure a lot of murdering will happen." "Scream 4" will also return Neve Campbell into the fray, surrounding the surviving trio with a whole new cast of young players, and of course, a new Ghostface. "Scream 4" hits cinemas in 2010.
